Nitish Kumar on UP Population Bill 2021:
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the Janata Darbar again yesterday, after a long time. The Janata Darbar was organized on Monday, 12th July in Patna at a new place near Ek Ane Marg Chief Minister's residence in Patna.
The CM heard the complaints of the people of Bihar and instructed the officials to solve them on the spot during the Janta Darbar on Monday. After the Nitish Kumar Janata Darbar, the Chief Minister answered the question asked by journalists on the Population Control Act, recently implemented by the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh.
Answering the questions, Nitish said that, “Whatever a state wants to do, can do, but as per my opinion, the population of the country cannot be controlled only by making laws. The Fertility rate will be low only when women are fully educated. I think that the population will not increase till 2040 and then it will start decreasing.”
It must be noted that Nitish Kumar has started the Janata Darbar again after 5 years. After 2016, once again people will be able to put their point directly in front of the Chief Minister.
