CBSE 2021-22 Assessment Scheme:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced a special development plan for the next year's board exams of class 10th and 12th in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and divided the training session into two parts. The board also announced a plan to rationalize the syllabus of the 2021-22 training session and make internal assessments and projects more 'qualified' and 'legitimate'.
According to the government order issued by the Director of CBSE, Joseph Emmanuel, the first term exams will be held in November-December, 2021 while the second term exams will be held in March-April 2022.
Joseph Emmanuel said, “To make the syllabus for the training session 2021-22 rational, it will be divided into two terms, with the help of the subjects.” He said, “On the basis of bifurcation of the syllabus, the board will conduct the examination at the end of each AK term. By the end of the training session, this has been done with the aim to increase the capacity to conduct the 10th and 12th examinations by the board.
Joseph Emmanuel also said that efforts will be made to make internal assessment / practical / project work more efficient. Also, it will be legitimized as per the announced guidelines and moderation policy for equal marks distribution to all.
