The CBSE Class 10th Board Result for the academic year 2020-2021 was expected to be out by 20th July 2021, but the same doesn't seem possible now. Moreover, an internal source from the CBSE has stated that the Clas 10th will be our by 31st July 2021.

While the results are expected to be declared through online mode on the official website of CBSE Board which is, As per the official announcement by Education Minister Ramesh Pohriyal, the CBSE Class 10th Board exams have been cancelled for the academic year 2020-21. Whereas, the CBSE Class 10th Practical exams will commence from 1st March onwards, and will be conducted at the school level. 

While viewing results, it is advised that students should keep their admit cards handy so as to fill in the credentials such as their Roll number, School number, Exam Centre number and other important details correctly. 

To check the CBSE Class 10th Boards Result, mentioned below are some of the steps, as follows:

  • Go to the official website of CBSE Board, which is
  • Fill in your details such as Roll number, DoB, Exam Centre number, School number, etc. mentioned on your admit card.
  • After filling all the details correctly, click on submit.
  • The results for CBSE Class 10th 2021 will reflect on your screen. 
  • Students are advised to download and print copies of the result after viewing for further reference.

CBSE Class 10th Compartment Board Result 2021:

The CBSE Class 10th Compartment Board Result 2021 are expected to be out in the third week of July 2021. The exam is for the students, who failed in any of the subjects during the main exam. The result for the exam will be declared online on the official website of CBSE which is, The CBSE Class 10th, Compartment Board Exams are expected to be conducted in the first week of July 2021, the admit card to which will be released in July 2021. While checking the results, the students are advised to keep their admit card safe and at reach so as to refer it while viewing their result.

  • Visit the official website of CBSE which is
  • Then click on ‘Secondary School 2021 CBSE Compartment Result’ tab.
  • The Class 10th Compartment Result 2021 window will appear on your respective screens.
  • Now, fill in the credentials carefully including your Roll number, DoB, School number and centre number.
  • The last step requires you to click on the submit button. 
  • After viewing the CBSE Class 10th Compartment Board result, candidates are advised to save or download the result after viewing and take a print out of it for further reference.


Re-checking and Re-evaluation of results:

At times when students are not satisfied with the scores secured by them in the exams, or they feel their scores to be understated, for this, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) provides a facility of re-checking or re-evaluating the answer sheets. While considering this decision is perilous as, during the re-evaluation, if there is any fluctuation in the marks secured by the candidate, then the latter would be considered and updated in the original marks sheet.

And if the student is still unsatisfied with the result, he/she can further move forward and apply for Supplementary Examination for the subject. 

Score trends for CBSE Class 10th Results 2020: 

According to the score trends for the year 2020, a sum total of 18,73,015 candidates appeared for Class 10th CBSE Board Exams out of which 17,13,121 students managed to pass the exam. This means that almost 91.46% of students passed the exam. However, the charts of the scores of students were topped by Shirija Chhabra and P. Harini who scored 99.8% followed by Ritish Aggarwal securing the second position by scoring 99.6% and Aryan Bhatt and Ritika Aggarwal securing the third position at 99.4%.
