CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Cancellation: Supreme Court hearing postponed until 3rd June

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Cancellation:

The Supreme Court of India has currently postponed the hearing which was to be conducted today, to decide upon the cancellation of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ICSE Class 12th examinations 2021. While a meeting in this regard was also conducted with the Union Ministry of Education, where some states supported the conduction of the CBSE Class 12th examination, however, some states opposed it too.

Other than this, many groups of students are also demanding the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12th examination, with various campaigns are being run over the internet too, and some hashtags were trending on Twitter too in the recent past.

Currently, the declaration of the dates for Class 12th Examination 2021 is solely dependent on the decision of the Supreme Court. Hence, if the Supreme Court announces the decision in the favour of conducting the exams, the dates for Class 12th exams 2021 will be announced by 1st June 2021. 

It must be noted that the Ministry has indicated to announce the new dates for the Class 12th exams by 1st June. And the education ministry has meanwhile, prepared a plan for exam-related preparations, under which the 12th board examination is expected to be conducted after July 25.

Declaration for 12th exams will be made after the decision of the Supreme Court:

It must be noted that any announcement regarding the 12th board examination will be made only after considering the decision made by the Supreme Court of India, in this regard. Moreover, a high-level meeting with the Prime Minister's Office was also conducted in this regard.
