This year, for Board Exams 2021, CBSE has issued a revised syllabus for various subjects. While sticking to that revised syllabus, three subjects of the CBSE 12th Chemistry subject has also been deleted.
Weighs 70 marks and is divided into four parts namely Section A, B, C and D.
Section A: Consists of total 1 mark questions. Questions 1 to 16 belong to this section out of which question 1 and 2 are passage-based questions consisting of 4 parts each. These questions are usually Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), case-based question and assertion reason based questions.
Section B: Section B of the Class 12th Chemistry exam consists of all marks questions. And questions from 17 to 25 fall under this section.
Section C: Consists of all 3 marks questions. Questions number 26 to 30 fall under this section.
Section D: Consists of all 5 marks questions. Questions number 30 to 33 fall under this section.
Attempting all the questions is mandatory though, the internal choice would be offered in various questions.
Weighs for the rest 30 marks and the performance of students are evaluated on the basis of Content-based experiments, Salt Analysis, Volumetric Analysis, Project file, Practical file and viva.
