City Da Chef has reached our listener Priya house, where Chef Raman from NFCI will teach her the how to make Chana Dal Cutlet.. Ingredients for Chana Dal Cutlet Recipe ( Neelu Anand) o Split Bengal Gram soaked 1 cup o Oil for shallow frying o Green chillies roughly chopped 2 o Ginger roughly chopped 10 gm o Onions chopped 2 medium o Salt to taste o Rosted cumin powder ½ tsp o Black salt ½ tsp o Fresh mint sprig for garnish Method Step 1 Boiled the Bengal gram dal. Step 2 Put dal in mixer jar and grind. Put grind dal in bowl, green chillies and ginger, salt, black salt, chopped onion. And make a dough. Step 3 Shape the mixture into equal sized balls and flatten them slightly to make cutlet. Step 4 Place the tikkis in the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till crisp from both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Step 5 Arrange them on a serving plate, garnish with a fresh mint sprit and serve hot.
