Chandra Grahan 2021:

On Wednesday i.e., 26th May 2021, the first Lunar Eclipse for the year 2021 was witnessed. The lunar eclipse witnessed yesterday was also named as Super moon, full moon, or blood moon, as all of these were witnessed all at once, which has been the first such instance within the past 6 years. 

It must be noted that this lunar eclipse was witnessed in East Asia, Australia, the Pacific, and America. This lunar eclipse 2021 started at 2:17 PM and continued until 7:19 PM.

However, it must be noted that the eclipse wasn’t witnessed in most of the regions of India. 

Second Lunar Eclipse of 2021:

The second lunar eclipse of 2021 is expected to be witnessed on 19th November 2021 at around 11:30 AM IST and will continue until 5:33 PM. While it is being speculated that people will not be able to witness this lunar eclipse. 

Much similar to the Solar eclipse, the lunar eclipse also concerns the Sutak timings.
