Coronavirus India Update: 13 oppositions urge the central government to conduct free vaccination across India

Coronavirus India Update:

The increasing Covid-19 cases in India have now grabbed the attention of not only the central government but of the oppositions too. On Sunday, 13 opposition parties together urged the central government to provide free vaccination to the people across the country. The press release also included the names of these senior party leaders namely, Sonia Gandhi from INC, Sharad Pawar from NCP, and Mamta Banerjee from TMC. 

Other than this, these oppositions also urged the center to focus on regulating the oxygen supply in the country properly. 

It must be noted that the country is currently facing a shortage of oxygen and other medicines as well as medical treatment. 

While the total cases in India have now reached 3,86,147 cases with 3,00,732 recoveries and 3,417 deaths. The total active cases in India have now reached 34,13,642. 

The Supreme Court of India has asked the state governments to consider the option of imposing lockdown to curb the current situation of coronavirus in India. Moreover, Odisha and Haryana have announced a complete lockdown in the states and the lockdown in Delhi has been extended by a week more.
