Coronavirus India Update: Complete lockdown imposed in Kerala from 8th May until 16th May 2021

Kerala total lockdown:

To curb the current Covid-19 situation, states such as Kerala and Tamil Nadu have also decided to impose complete lockdowns to break the chain of Coronavirus contamination. The Chief Minister of Kerala  Pinarayi Vijayan has announced a lockdown in Kerala from 8th May 2021 until 16th May 2021.

And with this lockdown, unnecessary movement of people has been prohibited, and only essential services will be operational. Moreover, people violating these rules of lockdown will be strictly punished for the same. 

Moreover, the Chief Minister of Kerala has also directed the immediate deployment of the students studying medicine with an aim to boost the medical infrastructure of the state. 

CM Prinarayi Vijayan has also stated that considering the constant surge in the coronavirus cases of the state, stricter measures will be employed to curb the situation.
