The Covid-19 pandemic has shaken the country to its worst, as within the past 24 hours, the country reported 3,79,257 new coronavirus cases with 3,645 deaths, however, 2,69,507 people recovered from the deadly virus too.
The total Covid-19 cases in India have now reached up to 1,83,76524 cases and 30,84,814 active coronavirus cases with the total death toll as of now being 2,04,832. Adding some positive news to the same, almost 1,50,86,878 people have recovered from the deadly virus.
There are many regions including Maharashtra and UP, where the situation of coronavirus seems to be out of control now, as these places are reporting the most cases within a single day.
Maharashtra within the last 24 hours has reported 985 deaths due to covid-19 cases, while amongst the severe shortage of medicines, oxygen, and hospital beds in Delhi, the national capital has reported 25,986 within the past 24 hours with 368 deaths. The active cases in Delhi are now on the verge to reach 1 lakh which is currently being reported at 99,752.
Uttar Pradesh is now reporting 29,824 new cases within the past 24 hours, with the infection transmission rate being more than 30%. Due to the constantly increasing Covid-19 cases in India, many foreign countries have extended their helping hands to India.
From 1st May 2021, the third phase of Coronavirus vaccination will commence for people above the age of 18 years.
