Since the country is currently going through the second wave of the Covid-19 virus, various states and regions of the country are currently under the influence of lockdowns and curfews to curb the rapidly surging cases. And to the relief, the effect of these imposed lockdowns is already visible with a decrease in the caseload of some of the most affected states namely, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
After almost the last 40 days, Maharashtra has reported less than 40,000 cases for a day, the actual count being at 37,236 cases.
On Monday, Delhi reported the contamination rate below 20% with 12,651 Coronavirus cases.
Uttar Pradesh has reported 21,331 within the past 24 hours, which is much lesser than the previous regular cases.
The southern states of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu have reported 39,305 Covid-19 cases, 27,478 Covid-19 cases, and 28,987 Coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours, respectively.
