The current Covid-19 cases in the country are on a serious surge currently, with the situation only becoming worse. And the current situation of Coronavirus in Delhi is even more dreadful. Almost 25,462 people have been tested positive for the Covid-19 virus and 162 people have died due to the deadly virus. The count of current active Coronavirus cases in Delhi is 74,941.
However, during this havoc, a huge shortage of beds and oxygen is being witnessed not only in Delhi but all across the country. Therefore, the Delhi Government has now urged all the private hospitals and nursing homes to reserve 80% of their beds for the Covid-19 patients only.
Moreover, CM Arvind Kejriwal through a letter has urged PM Modi to reserve 7,000 beds in all the central government hospitals for Coronavirus patients. Moreover, various stadiums, halls and temples are being turned into bedded shelters for Coronavirus patients all across Delhi.
