The second wave of the Covid-19 virus in the country is considerably weakening as of now as a fall in the regular caseload has been recorded, but the state governments are still reluctant towards removing the restrictions and have decided to continue with the lockdown for few more days.
It must be noted that the states such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Punjab have decided to extend their lockdown until 31st May 2021, while all the essential services will operate during this time.
Rajasthan Government has decided to extend the lockdown imposed until 8th June 2021.
Odisha and West Bengal have announced to impose a complete lockdown until 30th May 2021.
It must be noted that the Chattisgarh government has allowed some of the relaxations in relation to the Covid-19 reports of the people traveling interstates. Jharkhand has imposed the lockdown until 27th May 2021.
Bihar is currently under the influence of a lockdown until 25th May 2021, which can be extended further if the government wants.
