Coronavirus India Update: India reporting 40% Covid-19 cases across the world, with 4,01,993 new cases within past 24 hours

Coronavirus India Update:

The country is currently dying since the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is hitting hard on the lives of the people of India. With a consistent surge in the cases, the country has now started reporting over 4 lakh cases each day. 

The latest reports state that the country has registered 4,01,993  cases within the past 24 hours with 3,523 deaths and 2,99,988 recoveries. The statistics even state that 40% of the coronavirus cases across the globe are being registered from India. 

The total number of Covid-19 cases in India has reached 1,91,64,969 now with the total recoveries are 1,56,84,406 and the death toll reaches 2,11,853. The total active Covid-19 cases in India are now 32,68,710, with Maharashtra reporting 62,919 cases within the past 24 hours.

Talking about Delhi, the national capital reported 27,047 cases within the past 24 hours. The death rate across the country is 1.10% and the recovery rate is 82%. 

The third phase of the Covid-19 vaccination has commenced in India, which is expected to provide relaxation to people across the country from the deadly coronavirus.
