Due to the increasing Coronavirus cases in the country, various state governments are taking protective measures to curb the situation. And now, the state of West Bengal is also registering a huge number of cases each day, after the election campaigns and rallies were conducted in the state considering the Assembly Elections 2021.
Ever since being sworn in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal, CM Mamta Banerjee has imposed various restrictions in the state to control the covid-19 situation.
All the shops will be allowed to open for a few hours only
The movement of all the local trains in the state has been stopped, as of now.
Wearing masks is mandatory.
Only 50% of employees will be allowed in the State government offices
All the private sector offices are told to conduct their operations while working from home, with only 50% of employees allowed in the offices.
Shopping complexes, malls, gyms, theatres, cinema halls, and beauty parlors will remain shut.
All the public and political gatherings are restricted.
Home delivery services will be promoted.
Banks will be operational from 10 AM to 2 PM.
All the markets, general stores, and grocery shops will be open from only 7 AM to 10 AM and then, 5 AM to 7 PM.
