The second deadly wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has weakened in India as the Covid-19 cases in the country have dropped down considerably for the past few days, and the death toll has dipped too.
The National Health Ministry has stated that more than 377 districts are reporting less than a 5% positivity rate, and the daily cases have dipped down by 68%. The total recovery rate of the country is more than 93%.
However, considering this, various states in the country are planning to continue with the restrictions imposed or the lockdowns, while the states and regions with less caseload have decided to commence with the unlock process.
Regions such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and many other states have seemed to fight the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic now.
While many South Indian states are currently reporting many cases, which the governments are trying to control by imposing various restrictions.
