Coronavirus Lockdown in UP: Now extended by two days, until Thursday morning at 7 AM

Coronavirus Lockdown in UP:

The increasing Covid-19 cases in India have already created much destruction, and to curb the same, various state governments are taking protective measures by imposing lockdowns and curfews. And hence, UP Government has also decided to extend the already imposed curfew by two days more. Hence, the curfew which was supposed to end on Tuesday morning at 7 AM, will now end on Thursday morning at 7 AM. 

The lockdown has been extended with a motive to break the chain of the virus. While announcing the same, the CM Yogi Adityanath said that the lockdown has been extended until 6th May 2021, hence, it has been a 5 days lockdown overall. 

During this time, all the essential services will be operational as before, and the Municipal corporations and Nagar Nigam Authorities will take up the work of proper sanitization of all the places. While due to this lockdown, all the winning processions have already been banned in the state after the announcement of the results of UP Panchayat Chunav.  

It must be noted that previously a weekend lockdown was imposed to curb the increasing Covid-19 cases in the state, which was increased by a day until Monday, and have been increased by 2 days now, until Wednesday. The lockdown has banned unnecessary stepping out of homes and operationality of markets and other weekly markets.
