The second deadly wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India has become frail now in the past few days, but this isn’t the sign of much relief as the country’s death toll has considerably surged.
The country reported less than 1,90,000 Covid-19 cases within the past 24 hours, which is the least considering the past 44 days, while the death toll is still above 3,000 with most deaths being recorded in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Maharashtra recently reported 21,273 Covid-19 cases within the past 24 hours, while Delhi reported the least 1,072 coronavirus cases.
South Indian states such as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are currently the most affected due to the second wave of the Covid-19 virus, as Karnataka reported 24,214 coronavirus cases, while Tamil Nadu reported 33,361 Coronavirus cases.
Andhra Pradesh also reported 21,385 Covid-19 cases.
