The second wave of the Covid-19 virus has weakened considerably, but the havoc it is still creating can’t be ignored. Within the past 24 hours, the country again witnessed more than 2 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and the death toll went up to more than 3,500 deaths in a day.
The most affected states in this second wave namely Delhi and Maharashtra are currently reporting a dip in the overall Coronavirus cases. Maharashtra has recently reported 24,752 coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours, with 453 deaths.
However, the positivity rates of the Covid-19 cases in Delhi have gone down to 2%, which is another great sigh of relief. The national capital recently reported 1,491 Covid-19 cases with 130 deaths.
The fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Karnataka have reached 26,811, while Kerala has reported 28,798 coronavirus cases.
Punjab has reported 4,124 new coronavirus cases, Rajasthan has reported 3,886 Covid-19 cases, while the positivity rate in the state has reached 7.92%.
