The Covid-19 cases in India have dropped down considerably for the past few days, however, in the past 24 hours, the cases have shown a sudden surge with a fall in the death toll of the country. The country reported around 1,34,000 Coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours with the death toll being less than 3,000.
It must be noted that the surge in the Covid-19 cases was still less than the total recoveries recorded in the country within the past 24 hours, as more than 2,00,000 people recovered from the Covid-19 virus in India.
The total active cases in the country have dipped down from 18 lakhs.
Considering the Covid-19 situation in Delhi, the national capital is reporting a positivity rate of 0.78%.
However, considering this, various states in the country are still planning to continue with the restrictions imposed or the lockdowns, while the states and regions with less caseload have decided to commence with the unlock process.
