Severe Cyclonic Storm Yaas, which struck the Eastern coastal region of the country including the coastal regions of Odisha and West Bengal on Wednesday, has now slowly moved towards states such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
While the state is experiencing heavy rainfall for the past 36 hours, and the rainfall has been recorded at 75.7mm. And the reports of IMD state that, Bihar has received the highest rainfall in May 2021, as compared to the last 10 years.
Due to his heavy rainfall, water has stocked up at various places and due to this, the lives of local denizens have been affected a lot.
It must be noted that regions such as Delhi and Haryana are experiencing severe summer heat at the time when other parts of the country are hit by a severe cyclone.
However, Delhi is expected to receive rainfall for the next 3 days. Moreover, regions such as West Bengal, Sikkim, Puducherry, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, and Assam are expected to receive heavy rainfall on 31st May 2021.
