India's largest oil company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is going to set up the country's first green hydrogen plant at its Mathura Refinery to meet the growing demand for clean energy in the future. IOC President Shrikant Madhav Vaidya said the country's largest petroleum company has drawn up a strategic growth plan aimed at foraying into petrochemicals, hydrogen, and electric mobility over the next 10 years, as well as focusing on its core refining and fuel marketing businesses.

Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, was recently re-elected as the chairman of the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Ethics Commission. He was re-elected to this post during the session of the IOC. South Korea's 77-year-old politician and diplomat Ban Ki-moon has been in this post since 2017. He will remain in this position for another term of four years. Laura Chinchilla of Costa Rica, who joined the IOC as a member in 2019, will be the new member of the Ethics Commission.
