The Delhi High Court has allowed the work on the Central Vista Project, a project launched by the Modi Government, to continue.
The Delhi High Court has recently dismissed the petition issued by the petitioner Aanya Malhotra while questioning her intention and has also imposed a fine of INR one lakh on the petitioner Aanya Malhotra.
The petition filed against the Central Vista Project stated that the work on any such project shall not be carried out during the time the country is suffering from the second wave of the Covid-19 virus.
Moreover, it was also stated that working on this Central Vista Project puts the lives of many people at risk.
While Solicitor General Tushar Mehta dismissed the whole petition. The Central Government also stated that the work for the Central Vista Project is being carried out while following all the Covid-19 protocols.
It must be noted that many from the opposition governments also questioned the work of the Central Vista Project.
