Delhi School Fees:
Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the biggest concern for Indian parents was to pay the fees of private schools, which is likely to be solved for the locals of Delhi. As the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi has taken a big decision regarding the fees of private schools.
The Delhi government ordered all Delhi School private schools in the capital to cut their fees by 15% for the academic year. 2020-21. Not only this, the schools have been instructed to return the fees back or adjust in further installments if had charged more from the parents.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that considering the current times of the Covid-19 pandemic when all the parents are facing a financial crisis, a 15 percent reduction in fees will be a big relief for them.
Also, the school management will not stop the students from participating in any activities of the school on the ground of non-payment of the outstanding fees due to the financial constraints of the parents.
This order of the Delhi government is for all those 460 private schools, which had appeared in the High Court. The High Court has ordered a 15 percent reduction in the fees of private schools to prevent profiteering and commercialization during the pandemic.
Apart from these 460 schools, all other schools in Delhi will follow the old instructions issued by the Delhi government regarding fees.
