Delhi Unlock Update:
As stated by CM Arvind Kejriwal today, Delhi after being under the influence of lockdown considering the second wave of the Covid-19 virus pandemic will begin with the process of unlocking from Monday i.e., 31st May 2021.
CM Kejriwal thanked the two-crore people of the national capital today for abiding by the strict restrictions of the lockdown, which helped to bring under control the second deadly Covid-19 wave.
Adding further, the CM stated, “This is the time to unlock lest people escape corona only to die of hunger.”
What will be open and what will remain close:
- Provided from Monday, it was stated that the production units will be allowed to operate, located in industrial areas within confines or manufacturing premises. Moreover, workers will also be allowed to resume the construction activities in specified compounds.
- It must be noted that, with all the safety protocols, even the Delhi Metro may become operational.
- The wedding processions may also resume, with some prescribed number of attendees.
- All other private offices may also resume working from office with some prescribed number of employees at first.
