Veteran actor of Hindi cinema Dilip Kumar has passed away at the age of 98. On Wednesday, July 7, Dilip Kumar breathed his last at 7:30 am. He was suffering from many age related illnesses and was admitted to hospital many times. On June 30 he was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital where he passed away today. There is a wave of mourning in Bollywood and the entire country due to the death of Dilip Kumar.
Sahrin the news of his Demise with a heavy heart, Faisal Farooqi wrote on twitter from his account. He tweeted, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. - Faisal Farooqui

Earlier Deilip’s wife Saira Bano gave his health update and shared about his recovering health. She wrote, “Banu's last tweet read, "Dilip Kumar Sahab's health is still stable. He is still in ICU. We want to take him home but we are waiting for doctors' approval as they know his medical condition as soon as doctors allow, and will take him home. He will not be discharged today. Need prayers of his fans, he will be back soon."
Known as the ‘Tragedy King’ in BTown, Dilip Kumar did many films including 'Devdas '(1955), 'Naya Daur' (1957), 'Mughal-e-Azam' (1960), 'Ganga Jamuna' (1961), 'Kranti' (1981), and 'Karma' (1986). He was last seen in 'Qila' in 1998.
