Earth inner layers consist of 4 layers including Earth's inner core, outer core, mantle and crust. The upper mantle core is divided into several thick layers and these plates keep moving in their place, when the movement of the plates becomes more or they collide with each other and any relatable incident causes the crust to shake and that’s how earthquakes occur.
