The Parliament Monsoon Session will commence from Monday i.e., today and with this, the farmers protesting against the three black laws have announced a Sansad Gherao for the 22nd July 2021.
While the Delhi Police isn’t allowing the farmers to go ahead with the Sansad gherao, and hence, a meeting was held between the Delhi Police and the Kisan leaders from the farmers protest on Sunday at the Mantram Banquet Hall near the Singhu border.
At the meeting, the members of the CP and joint CP level were present, while 9 leaders from amongst the protesting farmers were sent. It was made clear at the meeting that the farmers will not be allowed to protest in front or near the parliament. However, they can be allowed to protest at the Jantar Mantar.
7 metro stations of the Delhi Metro in this regard are currently on alert and can be closed whenever required. These 7 metro stations are Janpath, Patel Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Lok Kalyan Marg, Kendriya Sachivalaya (Central Secretariat), Mandi House, and Udyog Bhawan.
It must be noted that the farmers from all across the country are still protesting at Delhi's borders against the three black agricultural laws.
