ICSE Board Exams 2021: CISCE cancels the Class 10th Board Exams and postpones the Class 12th Exams cancelled due to Covid-19 havoc in India

Due to the currently surging Covid-19 cases in India, many state boards, universities and educational boards such as CBSE have decided to cancel their upcoming Board Exams 2021. Hence, joining the league is now ICSE Board which has cancelled its Class 10th Board Exams 2021.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has decided to cancel the ICSE Board Class 10th Exams 2021 due to the surging Corona Virus cases in the country and imposed lockdowns and curfews at different regions. 

Earlier, there was a provision to separately assess the students who do not want to appear for these exams, but now, the CISCE council has decided to cancel the ICSE Class 10th exams and postpone the Class 12th ICSE Exams 2021. The new dates for the Class 12th ICSE Board Exams 2021 will be decided in June when the situation of Corona Virus is expected to improve. 

Earlier, the CISCE council was to conduct the Class 10th Exams from 4th May and Class 12th Exams from 8th April. However, the same were delayed due to the rising Covid-19 cases and a decision to cancel both of these was taken. 

As of now, the ICSE Class 10th Exams 2021 are cancelled and ICSE Class 12th Exams are postponed.
