India v/s England India’s Squad for Tests: Captain Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya Return, Siraj and Shardul also in the team.

India v/s England: After their astounding play in test series against Australia and lifting the cup at Gabba breaking off Australia’s 32 years unbeatable record, fast bowler Mohd. Siraj, Shardul Thakur and all-rounder player Washington Sundar have been rewarded by BCCI. All the three ṣplayers have been selected in the team for the upcoming first 2 Tests during England’s Tour of India 2021. 

Sundar and Siraj made their Test debut during India’s Tour in Australia, while Shardul Played his second test of the career. However, India will be playing 4 test series with England in February in India. The All-India Senior Selection Committee met on Tuesday and picked Indian squad for the first two test matches which will be played against England at Chennai.

In the team of 18 players, Capt. Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma and Hardik Pandya have returned to the team, while all-rounder Axar Patel has also made his place in the team. However, T. Natarajan who made his test debut in the Australia series was unable to get a place in the squad. Opening Batsman Prithvi Shaw has been dropped from the playing team. Jasprit Bumrah and R Ashwin who were unable to play in Brisbane Australia due to injury will be playing for the team against England.

India v/s England first Test match will be played in Chennai. KS Bharat, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shahbaz Nadeem, Rahul Chahar, Priyank Panchal have been selected as reserved players in the Team.
