Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the M-Yoga app today, on the occasion of the International Yoga Day 2021 which is specialized in yoga training videos that will be available all across the globe in different languages and is expected to play a great role in expanding the shadow of Yoga worldwide.
Addressing the nation today on the seventh International Yoga Day, PM Modi was quoted as saying, “When India proposed the International Yoga Day before the World Health Organisation (WHO), we wanted Yoga to be easily available to the people around the world.”
Adding further, PM Modi said, “In collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO), India has taken another important step. Now there will be an M-Yoga app, which will have yoga training videos in different languages for people across the world.”
“The mantra of ‘Yoga se sahyog tak’ will show us the way of a new future and will give power to humanity”, he added further.
The theme for International Yoga Day 2021 is “Be with Yoga, Be safe”, and will focus more on practicing yoga for the physical and mental well-being of humanity.
Ever since International Yoga day was introduced in 2014, the society at large has been introduced to yoga.
