Kalyan Singh Health Update: पूर्व सीएम कल्याण सिंह की हालत नाजुक, मिलने के लिए PGI पहुंचे रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and former Governor Kalyan Singh health condition are continuously deteriorating. On Wednesday, July 21, Singh was shifted to a mechanical ventilator due to difficulty in breathing. According to information received from Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow, his treatment is going on and he is currently under the observation of doctors. His treatment is going in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Critical Care Medicine. 

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached the hospital to visit Kalyan Singh and took a report of his health from doctors. Rajnath Singh came to Lucknow on Wednesday for a one-day visit.

According to the doctors of SGPGI, the health of 89-year-old former CM and senior BJP leader Kalyan Singh remains worrisome since Saturday, July 17. He is on oxygen support and the oxygen is directly given to his lungs by intubating i.e. trachea metal tube.He was put on the life support system on Tuesday evening. Although all his vitals and clinical parameters are in constant supervision, his health is showing no improvement. 

SGPGI Director Prof. Dr. RK Dhiman informed CM Kalyan Singh’s BP was out of control and he had some infections including urine infections and shortness of breath. He is kept on a non-invasive ventilator. Specialists in CCM Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology and Endocrinology are monitoring his health.

Let us tell you that, Former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh was admitted to Lucknow's Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences late on July 3, from where he was shifted to Sanjay Gandhi PGI on the evening of July 4 after his health condition became critical. He has been admitted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the CCM (Critical Care Medicine) department of PGI. The Senior party leaders are constantly visiting the hospital and are inquiring about his health status. Yogi Adityanath has also visited three times and is continuously monitoring his treatment.
