Kanwar Yatra 2021:
Since the cases for the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country are fewer, but the contingent third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic is still a matter of concern. While the speculations around the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic had made the decisions on the Char Dham Yatra 2021 and the Kanwar Yatra 2021 even more difficult.
Since the matter of the 2021 Char Dham Yatra still in the Supreme Court, Uttrakhand’s new CM Pushkar Dhami recently opened up on the Kanwar Yatra 2021. Pushkar stated that the decision on whether to conduct the Kanwar Yatra this year is a mutual matter among Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Adding further, Pushkar said that a decision on Kanwar Yatra 2021 will be taken after discussing it with the Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Haryana too.
It must be noted that the cases of the Covid-19 virus may be few in the city, but the huge crowd of people flocking to Manali and Himachal Pradesh during this time has made everyone worry about the expected third layer of the Coronavirus pandemic.
