Lok Sabha Elections 2024:

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has already started with uniting the opposition parties for the Lok Sabha elections which are to be held in 2024. After meeting election strategist Prashant Kishor on Monday, Pawar has called a meeting of the Rashtra Manch at 4 PM on Tuesday. And this is the second time in 15 days that Sharad has met Prashant Kishor.

This meeting is being seen as a major turnaround for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is for the first time now, after the Covid-19 pandemic that the leaders of about 15 parties will attend the Rashtra Manch meeting in person, rather than video conferencing. Leaders from around 15 parties will attend this meeting, which is being held under the banner of this Rashtra Manch.

NCP President Sharad Pawar will participate for the first time in the meeting of the Rashtra Manch. While the election strategist Prashant Kishor has dismissed the probability of some third front defeating the BJP in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

It is being expected that Pawar is trying to mobilize the opposition to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At present this platform being led by Prashant Kishor is not a political front, but the possibility of it becoming a third front cannot be ruled out in the future.

The foundation of this Rashtra Manch was laid by former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha in 2018 against the policies of the Modi government.
