Coronavirus India update: People arriving from other States will be quarantined in 6 districts of UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is gearing up to restrict the new coronavirus strain from spreading and infecting people around. CM Yogi Adityanath has once again put the authorities on High Alert in view of rising cases of Coronavirus infection in the country. An alert has been issued in Meerut Division regarding the new Corona strain.

Due to this, every person coming from other states except Delhi will be kept in a 14-day quarantine. Instructions have also been given to increase corona investigation and surveillance. Let us tell you that 6 districts come under Meerut Division i.e, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar and Hapur. These districts will be monitored by those coming from other states and especially from Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh. People arriving via trains, aeroplanes and other means will inevitably have to stay at home quarantine for 14 days.

Seeing the severity of the strain, hospitals are also prepping up and in emergency 3 big hospitals of the district will be opened up for the virus-infected patients. The government is also working on setting up required camps and other booths for an emergency.

Up government is scanning around 1 Lakh people every day for covid-19 and contact tracing is also performed in every district of the state.
