Pushkar Singh Dhami has been appointed as the new Chief Minister of Uttrakhand at the MLA meeting today

Since the speculations about the new Chief Minister of Uttrakhand were becoming prolonged, and now finally, Pushkar Singh Dhami has been appointed as the 10th Chief Minister of Uttrakhand on 3rd July 2021. The step to appoint Pushkar took after former CM Tirath Singh Rawat resigned from his post as the Chief Minister on Friday. 

Present in the meeting were other members such as central observers NS Tomar and D Purandeshwari, state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam and all other MLAs. 

Pushkar Dhami is an Indian politician and a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. Pushkar has also has been previously elected twice as an MLA from the Khatima seat of Udham Singh Nagar district.
