Coronavirus India Update: Relief from rising Covid Cases, 48,401 new cases in Maharashtra, even less in Delhi

Coronavirus India Update: While the graph of coronavirus infected people was increasing in the country, now there is some relief from this infection. During the last 24 hours, there have been 3,66,317 registered new cases of corona in the country. At the same time, 3,754 infected people succumbed to the virus while the total number of infected due to Covid-19 in the country has increased to 2,26,62,575 and the total number of deaths is 2,46,116.

 

Total Covid-19 cases and Vaccination Status

According to the ministry, at present, the total number of active cases in the country is 37,45,237 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,86,71,222. Under the vaccination campaign launched in the country to prevent infection, the total vaccination figure in the country has increased to 17,01,76,603. According to information received by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 30,37,50,077 sample tests have been done for the coronavirus in the country till Sunday, out of which 14,74,606 samples were tested only yesterday.

 

Declining graph of Covid-19 cases in Delhi and Maharashtra

Along with the relief of the declining graph of new cases, there is a decline in cases that has also been registered in Maharashtra and Delhi. According to the Health Department, the recovery rate in the state is now 86.4 per cent, while the death rate is 1.49 per cent. At the same time, the state government has implemented a strictness like including Maharashtra Lockdown from April 6. 

Talking about Delhi, here the graph of infection has started stabilizing and now also witnessing a decline. In Delhi, now the infection rate is has reached 21.67%. However, Kejriwal Govt has implemented lockdown here for the last one month. At the same time, Delhi CM has tightened it for a week by increasing the Delhi lockdown. Meanwhile, Metro services will also be closed. Curfew and strict lock-down have been implemented in several states including MP Gujarat Haryana to break the coronavirus chain.


Rise of Covid-19 Cases in past 1 year

The first day on the 1st of this month recorded more than 4 lakh infected Covid-19 cases in a 24-hour period. On that day, 4,01,993 new cases of COVID-19 were registered and 3,523 people died. Earlier on 21 April, the infection had crossed the 3 lakh mark, that is, 1 lakh cases had increased in just ten days.

The number of Covid-19 patients in the country crossed 20 lakh on August 7 last year. At the same time, the number of Covid-19 patients crossed 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September and 50 lakh on 16 September. After this, cases of coronavirus on September 28 were 60 lakhs and 70 lakhs on 11 October. 80 lakhs on 29 October, 90 lakhs on 20 November, 1 crore on 19 December and more than 1.5 crore cases of Covid-19 on 19 April. After this, on 4 May 2021, this figure crossed 2 crores.
