The Sawan Somvar has its own significance and importance in India. The month of Sawan has a different and special place in Hindu mythology, as the whole month is believed to be dedicated to Lord Shiv’s worship.
While as per the Hindi Calendar (Hindi Panchang), the month of Sawan 2021 will begin from 25th July 2021 and continue until 22nd August 2021.
The first Sawan Somvar is on 26th July 2021 and the last Sawan Somvar 2021 is on 16th August 2021. It must be noted that the first Sawan Somvar has 2 shubh yogs.
The two shubh yogs on the day of the first Sawan Somvar 2021 are the Saubhagya Yog, and the Shobhan Yog.
The Saubhagya Yog will continue until 10:40 PM, after which the Shibhan Yog will begin. The saubhagya Yog is believed to bring good luck charm. And if someone marries during the Saubhagya Yog, their married life is believed to be spent happily. During the Saubhagya Yog, the trade and business are also expected to prosper.
All the religious tasks are performed during the Shobhan Yog, as such tasks are believed to be fruitful during this Yog. Moreover, the Sawan Somvar vrat (fasts) also become fruitful during this time.
