School Reopen 2020: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has now decided to keep all schools closed till 31 December. This decision has been taken in view of CORONA SECOND WAVE. Before this, it was decided to open BMC and schools from 9th-12th in the state from 23 November. Maharashtra's School Education Minister Varsha gaikwad had earlier decided to open schools for students from the state's 9th-12th. Schools were to be opened in the state from 23 November. The state education ministry had also issued a guideline for this and preparations for this were also beginning. Due to the pandemic, online classes are being started at the moment and through these children are being educated. Because of this, the students have not seen the school for many months. At present, there are few chances of opening of schools in the state this year. While announcing the opening of schools on 23 November, the Maharashtra government made it mandatory for teachers to conduct examinations. Apart from this, some guidelines were also issued, in which students were allowed to continue studying from home. Those wishing to go to school had to submit a consent letter from their parents.
