Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently interacted with the team of Indian athletes going to the Tokyo Olympics 2020, which was also attended by the Union Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur and Law Minister Kiren Rijiju.

During this meeting, the PM encouraged the Indian players going to the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Talking to the players going to the Tokyo Olympics, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that you do not need to be burdened with expectations, you just give your 100%. He also said that the whole of India is with you.

PM Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) talked to the world's number 1 archer Deepika Kumari (world no 1 archer Deepika kumari). During the meeting, the PM told Deepika Kumari that the nation is talking about you after your feat in Paris. Further, the PM spoke to SC Mary Kom, who was Olympic medalist and world champion,  and asked who her favorite player is.

Apart from this, PM Modi also spoke to India's badminton player PV Sindhu. During this, PM told PV Sindhu – after your success, I will also eat ice cream with you. Apart from PV Sindhu, PM Modi further interacted with Lawn tennis sensation Sania Mirza in India.

In conversation with Sania Mirza, PM Modi asked Sania Mirza the qualities of becoming a champion of the game. The players with whom the PM has spoken are well-known names like MC Mary Kom, Sania Mirza, Deepika Kumari, PV Sindhu and Neeraj Chopra.
