Twitter & Modi Govt Controversy:

A dispute between the micro-blogging site Twitter and the PM Modi led Central Government is still on, considering the new IT rules. Meanwhile, a bunch of cases has also been registered against Twitter in many states, while Twitter is also facing acrid questions from the Parliamentary Committee.

The Parliament Committee for Information Technology has asked various questions to Twitter regarding blocking the account of Ravi Shankar Prasad. It must be noted that a few days ago Twitter locked the account of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, to which he raised objections.

Twitter then was presented before the Parliament Committee for Information Technology, in which Twitter was reprimanded. The committee has now asked for the reason for blocking the account of Ravi Shankar Prasad, within two days.

Not only this, Twitter has now involved itself in legal processions for not following the new IT Rules properly. And many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh have lodged an FIR against Twitter.
