Bihar Unlock News: Lockdown-4 is in force in Bihar till 12 midnight on June 8. Before this, the government is now churning on unlock. On Monday, a meeting of the Crisis Management Group is being held in Patna today regarding lockdown in which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will decide on lockdown or unlock. It is expected that the lockdown in Bihar should not be extended any longer.
However, the final decision on this will be taken in the meeting of the Disaster Management Group on Tuesday. A meeting has been called on Tuesday (June 8) at 11:30 pm regarding the lockdown. The Chief Secretary of the State, Development Commissioner along with senior officers of Home Department, Health Department, Education Department and DGP will attend the meeting.
After this, CM Nitish Kumar can announce the unlocking with some concessions. However, not everything will be unlocked. In Bihar, the infection rate has come down significantly after March 31. During the peak of the second wave of Kovid, where up to 15 thousand cases were received from the entire state in a day, now it has come down to one thousand. Less than 100 new cases were found in the Patna district on Saturday. In view of this, it is being considered to unlock Bihar on the lines of Delhi.
Due to the decreasing infection of Corona, the period of opening the market may be extended. After which the shops will be able to open till 4:00 pm. Along with this, private vehicles can also be allowed to exit without an e-pass. However, schools and colleges will remain closed for now.
According to sources, the new order may give more time to open shops. The shops can be allowed to open from June 9 till 8 pm. At present, shops of essential goods open from 6 am to 2 pm. Or orders can be given to open shops on alternate days.
However, during this night curfew will remain in force as before. Apart from this, the exemption can also be given to private offices with certain conditions. The government's thinking is to unlock gradually so that there is no unnecessary crowd in markets and public places.
Lockdown-1 was till 5-15 May
Lockdown-2 was till 16-25 May
Lockdown-3 from May 26 to June 1
Lockdown-4 from 02 June to 8 June
Lockdown has been effective in preventing infection
The lockdown has been very effective in preventing corona infection. When the lockdown was imposed on May 5, about 15 thousand cases were being reported every day in the state, which has come down gradually to about one thousand. There is a possibility of people being careless due to the unlock, which can increase the infection rate again. In such a situation, the government is preparing to gradually increase the scope of the exemption.
If sources are to be believed, all educational institutions including schools, colleges will remain closed for the time being. Limited relaxation may be given to colleges and higher educational institutions to prepare the 10th and 12th board exam results and start the admission process. Apart from this, further relaxation can be given in trade.

Some more people may be allowed to participate in marriage ceremonies and Shradh. At present, only 20 people can attend a wedding or Shradh. Gyms, parks, stadiums will remain closed as before.
