UP Panchayat Chunav Result: People failed to follow social distancing norms outside Firozabad voting centre

The eagerness to know the results for the Elections 2021 is increasing, as time passes by. While the scenes emerging from Firozabad witnessed today have created a horrifying image in our minds. During the third phase of vote counting which is being conducted in UP, for the UP Panchayat Election 2021, thousands of people were seen violating the social distancing norms and pushing each other.

The incident took place when the vote counting at the 829 centers of UP Panchayat Elections 2021 was underway, during the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic hitting hard in India. It must be noted that, outside the Naveen Mandi Sthal counting center, Sirsaganj, a huge mob of people gathered, and the situation went out of control when police tried to calm the crowd.

While the police force urged people to religiously follow the social distancing norms, but the crowd later on experienced lathi-charge when they didn’t react to it properly.
