WB Assembly Elections 2021: BJP promises free Covid-19 vaccine in Bengal, as a come back to Mamta didi

WB Assembly Elections 2021:

Since the havoc caused by the Coronavirus pandemic is intensifying day by day, the West Bengal Elections are being conducted simultaneously. It must be noted that now, BJP has promised free Covid-19 vaccination to the people of West Bengal, if they win elections from the constituency by announcing the same on its official Twitter account. 

However, CM Mamta Banerjee has already promised free Coronavirus vaccination to the people before this.

CM Mamta Banerjee on 22nd April tweeted to announce that from 5th May onwards, people above the age of 18 years of age will be vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus for free. 

It must be noted that for the Bihar Assembly Elections, BJP promised free Covid-19 vaccines to the people of Bihar too, and to which, the opposition parties raised questions. However, stating on the matter later, the Election Commission mentioned that the policy of BJP is not against the Election code of conduct.
