The temperature remained above 40 degrees for the second consecutive day in the capital Delhi which is causing great difficulty for the people. With the pace at which the monsoon is progressing, North India including Delhi-NCR can expect relief soon, as the reports state the region is expecting rainfall and dust storm from 12th to 15th June 2021.
The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in other coastal areas of the state including Mumbai. At the same time, the process of Pre Monsoon Rain is continuing in Madhya Pradesh. After Maharashtra, the monsoon is expected to reach Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh early. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon can knock in Mumbai by late evening or tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department says that by June 11, the monsoon will reach the rest of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. It is expected to reach Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat between 11th-13th June.
Monsoon is expected to arrive in UP around June 18, but this time it can knock a week before. Heavy rain expected after three days in MP, may knock ahead of time.
