Weather Updates: Due to the Tauktae cyclone storm, there have been continuous rains in Delhi-NCR, although the rains are intermittent, this has changed the mood of the weather completely. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi will be cloudy on Saturday and light rain can be recorded by evening along with winds. The maximum temperature is likely to remain 37 ° C and the minimum temperature up to 24 ° C. According to IMD forecasts, Saturday will also be partly cloudy and Light rain is expected. At the same time, due to the continuous rains for the last few days, there has been waterlogging in many areas, due to which people are facing problems.
The Meteorological Department had expected the sky to remain clear and sunny for Friday, but the effect of the cyclone was still seen in the area with light rain showers and winds. The rain started at about six o'clock in the morning and stopped at eight-thirty. Three millimetres of rain was recorded in Delhi till 5.30 pm. The sun was only seen for some time during the day due to cloudy weather.
Unlike the meteorological forecast, the weather took a turn again in Delhi-NCR on Friday morning. Black clouds darkened as soon as dawn broke. Seeing it, the rain started which lasted for about two and a half hours. This led to relief from heat throughout the day.
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi's maximum temperature was recorded at 33.1 degrees Celsius, seven degrees below normal, and the minimum temperature was 19.4 degrees Celsius, seven degrees below normal. The air humidity level was 55 to 100 percent. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 in Palam, 32 in Lodhi Road, 32.4 in Aya Nagar, 31.5 in Gurugram, 33.4 in Pitampura and 32.3 in the Sports Complex area. As far as rainfall is concerned, the maximum number of 3.4 mm was recorded in Ayannagar. This was followed by 3.2 in Lodhi Road, 2.8 in Palam, two in Gurugram and one millimetre of rain in the Sports Complex area.
