The scorching summer heat in the north Indian regions is creating another havoc along with the hot loo. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that the people of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and north Rajasthan will have to face loo for the next two days.
While the IMD has also forecasted that there is no favorable condition for monsoon rains in Delhi and its neighboring regions until 7th July 2021. And after that, the initial 15 days of July may bring low to medium rainfall.
Within the last few days, the temperature in the northern plains of the country has reached beyond 40 degrees causing severe heat in the regions, as the onset of the South-western monsoon has reached all across the country except these regions.
The Himalayan region of the country has witnessed a temperature above normal causing heatwaves there, which has also led to a surge in the temperature in the northern plains.
