West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021: 5th phase of assembly elections start today, voting begins in 45 seats amongst a constant electoral battle between BJP and TMC

West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021:

Amongst the surging Covid-19 cases in India, West Bengal is once again conducting voting for its ongoing West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021. The 5th phase of the West Bengal Elections 2021 will see thousands of people voting for 342 representatives contesting from 45 seats. 

The regions such as North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Kalimpong will be seen voting for the representatives at these 45 seats. Tweeting for the 5th phase of the West Bengal Elections 2021, PM Modi asked people to vote for the ongoing West Bengal elections in huge numbers. 

However, in order to maintain proper law and order at the voting centres in West Bengal, 853 personnel have been deployed. While the 5th Phase of the West Bengal 2021 Assembly Elections are taking place at the time when India and West Bengal, both are facing huge destruction of human lives due to the widespread Corona Virus pandemic. 

As of now, West Bengal is facing 6,910 new Covid-19 cases daily. We hope that due to these elections, the Corona Virus situation in West Bengal does not worsen.
