West Bengal Politics:

The tiff between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be a never-ending battle. While recently in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has targeted PM Modi over the law and order situation of UP.

The TMC chief Mamta Banerjee said while answering the questions of the media in Howrah district that “PM Modi knows very well that there is no rule of law in Uttar Pradesh (UP). There have been many incidents from Hathras to Unnao in UP. Journalists were not spared either.”

Adding further, Mamta accused BJP of distorting the image of West Bengal saying, “They are maligning the image of Bengal.”

It must be noted that today PM Modi was on his parliamentary constituency Varanasi tour yesterday, where he launched developmental schemes worth Rs. 1,500 crores for the people of Varanasi and could be seen praising the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.

However, since the last West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021, there is continuous rhetoric between TMC and BJP, which has not stopped yet.
